Jeff Davis Hospital Behavioral Health Unit, provides stabilization for struggling adults and seniors.

Patients may require inpatient care if symptoms are severely disabling or there is risk of harm to self or others. After a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is completed to gain a thorough understanding of the specific needs of each patient, inpatient treatment focuses on quickly resolving serious and life-threatening symptoms.

Inpatient care from the point of admission to the point of discharge is delivered with compassion and respect by Jeff Davis Hospital Behavioral Health Unit's expert staff. A multi-disciplinary team, which includes a psychiatrist, physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurses, master's level social workers and other unit staff, works with each patient on an individual basis and in groups, providing intensive treatment.
