Community Health Needs Assessments
As part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, non-profit hospitals must complete a Community Health Needs Assessment(CHNA) every three years. Hospitals must collect input from the community, adopt a plan to address community needs, and then report on these activities. In 2013 and again in 2016, a CHNA was conducted and identified the greatest health needs in our community.
